We have recently intensified our efforts to provide world-class mobile support for our platform, and we are now seeking an engineering manager to lead our mobile teams into the next phase of mobile development at Airtable.<h3>What you'll do</h3><ul><li>Drive strategy, planning, and execution for our iOS and Android engineering teams.</li><li>Cultivate a safe and inclusive team culture that fosters impactful outcomes.</li><li>Mentor a team of passionate and skilled engineers. Collaborate with senior engineers to amplify their contributions, and coach and develop early-career engineers.</li><li>Apply your technical expertise to collaborate with engineers in designing and constructing products in a high-quality and sustainable manner.</li><li>Collaborate across functions with engineering, product, design, and sales teams to ensure a seamless cross-platform experience for our customers.</li><li>Implement streamlined processes to facilitate team scalability and productivity, while maintaining agility to adapt to our dynamic environment.</li></ul><h3>Who you are</h3><ul><li>Have experience leading teams in developing mission-critical product features and systems with a strong emphasis on quality.</li><li>Have experience in leading product definition, managing trade-offs, and driving customer adoption.</li><li>Have experience in managing and developing mid-level, senior, and staff engineers.</li><li>Possess at least 5 years of experience as an engineer and at least 2 years as a manager, or a similar combination.</li><li>Preferably have experience in mobile app development and/or leading mobile teams.</li></ul>Airtable is an equal opportunity employer. You'll design and own mission-critical data pipelines to enable decision-making, partner with company leaders to create scalable data solutions, and launch innovative alerting and visualization solutions.Learn more about our Engineering team and values here.<h3>What you'll do</h3><ul><li>Work between our engineering organization and stakeholders from our data science, growth, sales, marketing, and product teams, to understand the data needs of the business and produce pipelines, data marts, and other data solutions that enable better product and growth decision-making.</li><li>Design and update our foundational business tables in order to simplify analysis across the entire company.</li><li>Continue to improve the performance and reliability of our data warehouse.</li><li>Build and enforce a pattern language across our data stack, ensuring that our data pipelines and tables are consistent, accurate, and well-understood.</li></ul><h3>Who you are</h3><ul><li>You have 5+ years of professional experience designing, creating and maintaining scalable data pipelines, preferably in Airflow.</li><li>You've wrangled enough data to understand how often the complex systems that produce data can go wrong.</li><li>You are proficient in at least one programming language (preferably Python), and are willing to become effective in others as needed to get your job done.</li><li>You are highly effective with SQL and understand how to write and tune complex queries.</li><li>You're passionate and thoughtful about building systems that enhance human understanding.</li><li>You communicate with clarity and precision in written form; experience communicating with graphs and plots</li></ul>Want to Learn More?
